Granny’s favorite is everything but the kitchen sink soup. This is a great mid-winter soup when fresh veggies are rare and we are using what’s left in the root cellar and freezer. It is always a warm welcome on the chill February days!

1 lb- shredded or chopped leftover pre-cooked meat (Turkey, Ham, or whatever you have. Roast works well too. You can also use uncooked meat and adjust the cooking time accordingly)

4- Roasted, baked, or raw chopped potatoes.

Any amount up to a pound of the following:

Left over green beans, carrots, rice, or other vegetable or grain.

1 quart- Chicken or beef soup stock

3 cups your favorite white wine, or water

2 cups chopped celery and/or onions

2 teaspoons sage

2 teaspoons thyme
